Coding for burns, corrosions and frostbite can be confusing! This video discusses internal and external burns and corrosions, defines terms, ICD-10-CM coding guidelines, extent of body burned, rule of 9s, and related external cause and toxic effect codes. For frostbite coding, the video defines terms and coding tips, hyperthermia, along with external cause codes. Also discussed is how to look up frostbite, corrosions and burns in the Alphabetic Index.
If you give me a “Superthanks” of or more, I will send you a copy of the slides for this video! Click Thanks under the video (the heart with $ ). List your email in the reply. Thank you!

Chiropractors who diagnose and treat different disorders that cause musculoskeletal or nerve pain need to document various procedures such as spinal manipulation or other manual therapies. Billing and coding different disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous system can be challenging. Physician practices need to use the correct ICD-10 codes to report these disorders.
In today’s podcast, Meghann Drella, one of our Senior Solutions Managers, discusses five common conditions chiropractors treat and their ICD-10 codes.

Let’s talk about the differences between a wisdom tooth infection (pericoronitis) versus normal wisdom tooth eruption (“teething”) pain! Whenever your wisdom tooth starts to erupt, it “cuts” through your gum tissue (gingiva), just like all of your other teeth. But sometimes, the wisdom tooth only partially erupts because it’s wedged inside of the bone or against another tooth, making it partially impacted. As a result, the gums don’t pull all the way back from the chewing surface. You’re essentially left with a partially erupted tooth and a flap of gum tissue that’s still covering part of or the majority of your wisdom tooth. This flap is called the “operculum.” Learn more: https://www.teethtalkgirl.com/dental-health/pericoronitis-swollen-and-infected-wisdom-teeth

In this video I test if sucking is the opposite of blowing. I tell you about the very difficult questions posed by physicists that says if you suck water into a sprinkler will it actually spin in the opposite direction. I talk about Feynman’s reverse sprinkler physics question that has been puzzling physicists for years. Some still argue that it does and some say that it doesn’t.
